Healthcare and clinics

Your people work shifts, your training window is twenty minutes, and your supervisors were promoted because they were good at care, not because anybody taught them to lead.

How do you train a team that works shifts?

Build one session and run it three times rather than building three versions. Same material, same length, same facilitator notes, so nobody gets the discount version because of their schedule.

Keep it at 45 minutes or less for clinical staff and put everything durable on one page they can take to the floor.

Our supervisors came from clinical roles. What do they need?

The conversation skills, not the theory. How to give corrective feedback to a peer who was a peer last month, how to receive a complaint, how to run a huddle that is not just announcements.

This is where the legal exposure sits too. A charge nurse who hears something and does nothing has started the clock on the employer, whether or not anybody used the word complaint.

Can this be done without pulling people off the floor?

Partly. Live matters, and a recording will not replace it, but sessions can be short, repeated and scheduled around coverage.

I would rather run the same 45 minutes four times than lose the room to a recording nobody finishes. Self-paced training completes at 10% to 20% (Ruzuku, State of Online Courses 2026).

What I would do first

Short and repeated

One session run three times beats three versions of unequal quality.

Promote and then teach

Clinical excellence does not transfer to running a room. That gap is trainable.

One page to the floor

Everything durable goes on a single page staff can carry.

Where to go next

Programs

Four live programs and private team sessions.

Pricing

Seats, private rates and the reduced rate for nonprofits, schools and public agencies.

Twenty minutes, no pitch.

Describe the room and the constraint. I will tell you what I would do, including when the answer is that you do not need me.
