I want to use AI without the training feeling generated.
AI will draft the outline, the scenarios and the slide copy faster than you will. It cannot notice that the person who stopped typing at minute nine is the one who needed the session most.
What should AI draft in a training session?
The first pass of anything with a known shape: an outline, discussion questions, practice scenarios, a summary email, a translated handout. Drafting is where the hours go, and hours are what most people do not have.
Treat every draft as a starting point written by somebody who has never met your team. Half of it will be too generic to use. The half that survives saved you an afternoon.
What should never be handed to AI?
Judgment about people. Who is struggling, whether a room is ready for a hard conversation, whether a disclosure in a session needs to stop the session. Those are read in real time by a person who will still be accountable for the call afterward.
Also anything that would put a real employee's situation into a general AI tool. Names, complaints, medical details and investigation notes stay out. I keep client details out of AI training on my own accounts and say so publicly.
Should I tell participants I used AI?
Yes, and in one line, before somebody asks. "I drafted these scenarios with AI and rewrote them for us" costs nothing and buys the room's trust for the rest of the session.
The reverse is expensive. A group that discovers a generated slide mid session stops evaluating the content and starts auditing you.
How I teach it
Three things every program here comes back to.
Draft fast, decide slow
Use AI where the shape is known. Keep every judgment about a person with a person.
Say it out loud
One sentence of disclosure at the top of the session protects the whole hour.
Keep client details out
No names, no complaints, no medical facts in a general AI tool. Ever.

Tell me what the room looks like.
Twenty minutes on Zoom or a call. If a program fits, I will say which one. If nothing here fits, I will say that too.
