For trainers and consultants

You already run rooms for money. The question is whether your sessions are as good as your reputation says, and whether you are charging what live work is worth.

What are independent facilitators charging in 2026?

Live facilitation runs $1,500 to $3,500 a day in the corporate market, and specialized compliance or technical work commands 30% to 50% more (Ruzuku, How to Price Training Courses, 2026).

If you are under that range, the usual cause is packaging, not skill. A named program with a defined outcome prices differently than hours.

How do I make my material sellable to a team?

Make it runnable by somebody else. Material with facilitator notes and timing can be licensed, delivered by a client's own people, or handed to a junior facilitator. Material that only works with you in the room caps your income at your calendar.

What legal exposure do facilitators actually have?

More than most expect once they deliver required training or work inside an employer's conduct process. Recording consent, accessibility duties, what you document, and what happens when a disclosure lands in your session.

The Legal Side of Training covers exactly this, taught by a J.D. who has handled what comes after the session.
